Private Dining

This spider found a cozy, inviting place to set up for prey in this newly opening Gerbera blossom.
In  turn, I found it an equally fine place to catch it with its “mouth” occupied.
Small softboxed flash at dusk, and my 18-mm vr kit lens and 36mm extension tube let me shoot stopped down for depth.

Languid, and. . .

Tim Smith, a singer I know in the cover band, Dealing Stan, announced two backing singers as “Languid” and “Bittersweet”.
Languid is a name I would give this image, for its lushness and for a visual “fragrance” in the softness in and beyond the sweet petals.
On another note, perhaps both names would apply, because: Fly.
